College Community
When you enrol at UEL, you become a part of a three-college community that is active, friendly, and varied. You will study in the UK at one of these colleges among students enrolled in related courses, giving you the chance to meet friends, exchange ideas, and work together in your chosen subject.
Health and Communities
The schools of health, athletics, biosciences, and psychology are located within the College of Applied Health and Communities. Our schools of architecture, computer science and engineering, and digital arts and industries are located inside the College of Arts, Technology, and Innovation.
University of East London’s Campus
The Stratford campus is near to Stratford’s bustling city centre, the 2012 Olympic Park, and is only 15 minutes from London’s West End, making it one of London’s best-connected locations. The amenities at Stratford include an updated learning centre, labs, and computer services. New structures serve as the home of the Student Support Center and the Clinical Training Center for Podiatry, Physiotherapy, and Sports Science. Also, there is a café bar in the Student Union as well as a restaurant and bookshop on campus.
In addition to cutting-edge lecture halls and seminar rooms, a 24-hour library, and a media production centre with labs and audiovisual studios, the Waterfront Docklands campus offers a cutting-edge learning environment. One of the few institutions in London to provide on-campus housing is UEL.
A distinctive collaboration between Birkbeck University of London and Stratford Campus, University Square, exists. A significant new university campus will be built as part of the common goal of two illustrious and complementing institutions to satisfy the expanding educational needs of the community during this period of rapid change and opportunity in East London.
Over the previous seven years, the UEL has created roughly 70 works, such as the Westfield Transport Watch, the Newham Impact Assessment, and the LOCOG Impact Assessment.
Student Exchange Programmes at UEL
With several foreign universities, UEL offers student exchange programmes that provide financial aid for participants in the Erasmus programme.
UELSU
According to Abroad Education Consultants, the representative group for all students at the university is called the University of East London Students’ Union (UELSU). AIts objectives include representing UEL students in university decision-making, serving as the student voice in discussions about higher education policy at the federal level, and offering immediate services to the student body. It is connected to the National Union of Students, which advocates for students all around the country.
Library
There is a library at UEL on each campus. Five canteens or cafes can be found in Docklands, two in Stratford, and one at USS. Docklands has one campus bar.
University of East London Sports Clubs
Sports league competition between UEL sports clubs and UK colleges and universities is overseen by UEL Sports. Modern amenities at the sports centre include a fitness centre, two big indoor sports arenas, ten badminton courts, two competition basketball courts, volleyball and netball courts, cricket bays, and two five-a-side football fields.
